Mua Tala is located along Maremegmeg Beach in Barangay Corong Corong, just 4km from El Nido town center.

By air from Manila: Book your flight to and of the Palawan airports – El Nido (15mins), San Vicente (3h) or Puerto Princesa (5h) – and our office will gladly assist you in organizing your airport transfers.

From within El Nido:

By tricycle/van: Ask your tricycle driver to drop you at the entrance to Vanilla Beach. Walk through the commercial center till you get to the beach. Turn left and walk for around 5mins.

By motorbike: When coming from town or any northern El Nido destinations (Nacpan, Duli, Dewil, Sibaltan…) take the national highway towards the south, pass the market in Corong Corong and continue through the commercial portion. The highway will start becoming more curvy and more hilly/rolling/undulating. Follow it till the parking lot of Vanilla Beach – you can safely park your motorbike there, but we suggest not leaving your helmet on your bike. Walk through the commercial center till you get to the beach. Turn left and walk for around 5mins.

Due to the elevated location of the resort and its rooms, Mua Tala does not recommend persons with physical/mobility disabilities and wheelchairs to choose us as their island accommodation. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Once roadside access room is finished:

We have one room available that is accessible from the roadside and outfitted for PWDs. However please be informed that access to the restaurant, pool and beach is via stairs and may present logistic difficulties without proper assistance.

No. The hotel, pool and restaurant are reachable via stairs from the beach (or roadside).

Yes. Families with children are welcome.
Due to the layout of the resort, we recommend our resort to families with children 12 years old and above. And as there is no lifeguard on duty, we advise parents to be responsible for their children when in the pool and restaurant area.

If you make sure your pet is friendly, we are pet-friendly.
Yes, pets are allowed to join their owners at Mua Tala – if approved by management in advance. Please include a request during the booking process along with a picture and description (age, weight and size, breed) of your furry family member.
Please make sure your pet is as courteous, clean and composed as you’d want your fellow resort guests to be.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry to unexpected or mispresented pets and ask
unruly and disobedient pets to leave.

No. The infinity pool at Mua Tala is 4.5 x 13m and has a depth of 4ft and is therefore not required to have a lifeguard on duty.
Proper swimming attire is required and we request that jumping, diving and rough play is avoided. We are happy for children to enjoy the pool and advise parents to be responsible for their kids’ safety.
Currently, the maximum capacity in the pool is 10pax.

Yes, we are happy to welcome you and your guests at Mua Tala and its restaurant Bugánà for your private celebrations.
The current capacity is 50pax (Change to 100 when allowed). Please send us your event inquiry here.

Yes, there is something for everyone on our menu.
For food intolerances and allergies, please be sure to inform us during the booking process or
upon check-in.

No. Food from the outside is not allowed. We’re sure you’ll be able to find something on our menu that’s to your liking. And we also extend the option to order from our neighboring restaurant The Beach Shack.

We do not allow consumption of non-alcoholic beverages brought in from the outside. We also do not support plastic bottles being brought into our establishment – free drinking water is available to our guests.

For alcoholic drinks – wine and liquor – a corkage fee will be applied.

No. The office hours of the Mua Tala front desk are 6am – 10pm.

Yes. We are happy to arrange airport transfers from El Nido, San Vicente and Puerto Princesa airports and can arrange hotel transfers from/to your other Palawan destinations.

Currently we accept cash, GCash, PayPal and bank transfer.

We are aware and sensitive to the concerns that may arise for our guests due to the current global Covid pandemic.

Mua Tala is accredited with a Certificate of Authority to Operate by the Department of Tourism and follows all safety and health guidelines and regulations imposed thereby.

These include (but are not limited to):

– Minimum health and safety measures in place – footbath, body temperature scanners and alcohol dispensers available in the venue
– The request for all guests to please wear your mask and practice social distancing
– Testing of staff
– Mask wearing and frequent hand sanitizing protocols for staff
– Sanitation of the rooms according to standard, including UV light disinfection.
– Frequent sanitation of all public areas including dining tables, chairs and bathrooms
– Sanitary kitchen protocols to ensure safe preparation and serving of your food
